The Ultrapure External Safety Air Bleed Kit (1008028) is designed to take air from the top of the filter and send it downstream (up to 15') past any and all equipment. The PVC tee is inserted the pressure gauge of the pool filter and in some cases it is necessary to install the tee into the manual air relief port opening.

The installation of the External Safety Air Bleed Kit is needed when:

• The filter does not have an internal air bleed.
• Using a solar heating system.
• Using a pressure side cleaner and/or booster pump .
• The filter does not evacuate the air efficiently.
